British Celebrity Spotlight | Andy Murray

Andrew “Andy” Murray (born 15 May 1987) is a Scottish professional tennis player. Murray is the British No. 1 and ranked No. 4 in the world. He was ranked world No. 2 from 17 to 31 August 2009. Murray achieved a top-10 ranking by the Association of Tennis Professionals for the first time on 16 April 2007. He has been runner-up in three Grand Slam finals: the 2008 US Open, the 2010 Australian Open and the 2011 Australian Open, losing the first two to Roger Federer and the third to Novak Djokovic. In 2011, Murray became only the seventh player in the Open Era to reach the semi-finals of all four Grand Slam tournaments in one year. Murray is the only British player to reach the Wimbledon men’s singles final in the Open Era (the last being Bunny Austin in 1938, when the tournament was restricted to amateurs).
