Let’s Dance For Sport Relief 2012 – Episode 1

Yesterday, the whole of Britain saw the first episode of 2012 Let’s Dance for Sport Relief’s debut. Jam-packed with entertainment and oh so hilarious dance routines, this is a Saturday evening show you don’t want to miss, especially is you’re an Anglophile just like me! My posts are written by somebody who loves Britain to fellow Anglophiles all around the world. My aim is for you to feel Britain that bit closer to you.

Presenters:

– Alex Jones

– David Jones

Competitors:

– Shooting Stars’ Ulrika Jonsson and Angelos Epithemiou (Tango)

– Comedian Terry Alderton (Proud by Tina Turner)

– EastEnders Laurie Brett and Tameka Empson (Telephone by Lady GaGa feat. Beyoncé)

– Legendary DJs Tony Blackburn and ‘Diddy’ David Hamilton (Push It by Salt N Pepa)

– Cricket star Darren Gough (former winner of SCD) (Song from West Side Story)

Judges:

– Keith Lemon

– Greg Davies

– Graham Norton

Performances by Jessie J and JLS.

The results? The Eastenders lasses won the public vote; Darren, Ulrika and Angelos left, followed by Tony and David, as Keith Lemon chose to keep Terry in the competition. Terry will compete with the Eastenders girls and with the winners from next shows.

I’ll leave you with the Laurie, Tameka and Terry’s performances, plus Jessie J and JLS’s.
